I should study some other examplse, but the top down ARPG market, isn't huge. Guild Wars 1: Multiplayer online rpg (wasn't a mmo, but had bigger towns & parties) Ragnarok Online (I'd consider it a ARPG): MMORPG Besides some console games, that aren't even playing top-down with tinier rpg chars.ĭiablo 2: popular for multiplayer lobbies entirely

I can't find a single popular ARPG game that was a huge success. So when some PVE Andy, replies to me, " Oh it's a ARPG, ARPG's are never meant to broaden their multiplayer, ect " What the _ freak game are you even talking about, pve andy? What game?! Or else lacked vision to evolve beyond lobbies version of a multiplayer for an ARPG. Than POE comes around & you got devs who either made POE into a single player game at first, because they lacked the funds at the time. So multiplayers being the dominant reason for success, not single players. So whether you played alone on those lobbies or with people, doesn't matter, you joined, because ultimately you favorite multiplayer aspects, more than single player. The characters were also divided, if I remember correctly, so you couldn't switch from offline to online chars. I'm sure they exist, but 90% played on lobbies. I don't even know anyone who played the single player. Well it wasn't! It never would have become as popular or popular at all, without 's multiplayer lobbies. The online editor doesn't do anything, I replace the save file but my inventory is not changed. Most of you for some odd reason, believe Diablo 2 was a single player game, or atleast that's how 90% of yall act on these forums. It's possible to directly use only the online editor, but when using some of the item modifiers it creates characters that won't load, with this workaround i got the best result Now you have the save file with the item that you have customized Now use the online editor to create a new character and add the item (.d2i file) to the inventory, you have the option to load from file and download the character file (save DR2 button) Export the item that you have created with the hero editor, you should get a. create the item that you want with the hero editor for diablo 2 (you can google characters save files or create a "new" one with the online editor) To everyone who wants to make a custom item, use the hero editor together with this online editor
